2016 Music Video Production Project

Date: January 29, 2016

Event Information

JANUARY - APRIL @ NOVAC

The NOVAC Music Video Production Project is BACK and we are going bigger than ever! We were thrilled with the results from this Spring's Bootcamp, producing three epic videos for Meschiya Lake & The Little Big Horns, Feathermeal and Cha Wa, which premiered on the big screen at Sync Up Cinema 2015. So we are teaming up once again with WWOZ, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation and the Arts Council of Baton Rouge to make great, free, music video content for local bands, made by you!

From January - Aprll 2016, three local filmmakers in New Orleans and Baton Rouge will each guide a group of students through the production process of a real music video. Our open call for bands starts this October, so if you are a musician or know of anyone interested in a FREE, professional-quality music video, send them NOVAC's way! It's not a hard sell!  Our first class is on Saturday, January 30 at 11am, and production will be scheduled in partnership with class participants and bands.
